We’re excited to play some music with you at this year’s “Day of Improvisation!” Before you do anything else, make sure you complete this RSVP form by October 1st, 2024 to let us know that you’re planning to attend.
Additionally, please record and submit some short musical examples of your playing so we can get to know you a bit better and place you in groups/classes for the day.
Recordings should include the following:
- An example of you improvising along with one of the following blues play-along tracks. This should also be no more than approximately 1 minute in length.
- Blues in Concert F
- Blues in Concert Bb
- A written etude, excerpt, or melody of no more than 1 minute in length – preferably in a jazz style. If you’re not sure what to record, here are some ideas…
